Main Research directions

1. Sorghum Genetic Breeding

Overview of Teaching and Research

She has been engaged in sorghum genetic breeding research for a long time. She has presided over 3 projects of the Youth Fund of Shanxi Provincial Key Laboratory, College Innovation of Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Fourteenth Five-Year Plan Breeding Projects of Shanxi Agricultural University. She has participated in 15 projects of National Science and Technology Support, National Achievement Transformation of the Ministry of Agriculture, and Key Research and Development of Shanxi Province, etc. She has formulated a local standard of Shanxi Province, and she has won the first prize of rural technology contracting in Shanxi Province.  She has bred 19 varieties of sorghum, among which 2 varieties have been approved by National Agricultural Technology Extension Service Centre, 6 varieties have been approved by Shanxi Crop Variety Approval Committee, and 11 varieties have been registered by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People 's Republic of China as non-major crop varieties.  She has published 15 academic papers, and she has been granted two utility model patents, and she has transferred the technical right of 7 sorghum varieties.
